Emissions & Legal Compliance
If achieving Stage 2 or Stage 3 tuning requires the removal of the catalytic converter, diesel particulate filter (DPF), or any other emissions-related equipment fitted by the manufacturer, you acknowledge and accept that your vehicle will no longer comply with UK road laws.
This means it will be illegal to drive the vehicle on public roads as it will no longer meet MOT emissions standards.
Vehicle Wear & Component Stress
Increasing engine power beyond the manufacturer’s original parameters may result in accelerated wear to the engine, drivetrain, or other components.
Some parts may be pushed beyond their factory design tolerances, and pre-existing worn or defective components may fail as a result.
We accept no responsibility for any mechanical issues outside of the software itself.
Software Responsibility
If a defect is found to be caused specifically by the Stage 1 software calibration, we can either:
Revert the vehicle back to its original software.
Investigate and attempt to find a solution.
Insurance Obligation
As the vehicle owner, it is your responsibility to inform your insurance provider of all modifications made to your vehicle.
Failure to declare modifications may invalidate your insurance policy.
